Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls, known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya "The Smoke That Thunders" is one of the world’s most iconic natural wonders and a must-visit on any Southern Africa itinerary.

Straddling the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia, the falls plunge over 100 metres into the Zambezi Gorge, creating a dramatic curtain of water and mist that can be seen and heard from miles away.
